I could make these pictures thanks to a friend, Jean Van Holen ( also member of http://www.natuurfotografen.be/NFP/Info.html) , who told me about this place. It’s a rather modest lake situated in Belgium, Geraardsbergen, known as “De Gavers”. These birds share the lake with the local leisure fishermen in mutual comprehension. Nice place early in the morning when the sun breaks through the trees. |
